The Production Center at S.N.D.M.A is involved in the production and manufacture of various items that include those which are the outcome of tailoring and hand-work. A great deal of stress is laid on maintaining a high quality for these products.
The items produced at the Production Center include – Kaftans, Night-Dresses, Appliquéd & Embroidered Saris and Crochet Work. Traditional products like Balaposh and indigenous Bags are in great demand. The patch work Bags and Quilts made at the center are of high quality.The block printing section also produces an attractive array of Bed-Covers, Cushion-Covers and Saris.

The Production Center provides employment to the students of the Industrial School and in the process gives them opportunities to acquire higher levels of skills through constant practise. The center regularly organizes exhibitions to display the products that it churns out.

This unit of S.N.D.M.A is an important revenue earner for the organization, an organization that requires a continuous stream of funds to meet the costs of its myriad welfare activities.
