Canteen (Rasana) |
The canteen at S.N.D.M.A is called 'Rasana'. In its present expanded avatar it is the pride of the organization. It had a rather humble beginning in 1984, but since then it has grown into one of the biggest revenue earners for the organization. In other words, the canteen which is run by a management committee set up by the Association is a prime source of Income Generation for S.N.D.M.A. |
On an average, the canteen caters to 300 to 350 people daily, serving Snacks, Refreshments, Meals and Beverages at extremely affordable prices. The canteen is open to the public as well as to the girls who stay in the two hostels run by the organization. The canteen also serves meals at subsidized rates to the staff who reside at the Association premises. Besides this the canteen also offers a source of livelihood to all the women who help in running the establishment.
Apart from serving Tea, Coffee, Soft Drinks, Snacks and Meals at very reasonable prices, the canteen accepts orders for Parties, Seminars, Conferences and Home-Delivery as well. |
