They publish a wall magazine titled Pratham Padakshep twice a year, learn Baratachary, present dramas during anniversary programs. They observe Teacher's Day, Independence Day and Republic Day.

They also put up special programs on the birth-anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, participate in sports on the annual Sports Day apart from taking part in various social programs.

Most of the girls who study here toil during the day and it is thus very encouraging to see that despite their tiredness they are extremely eager to receive education which they see as a stepping stone to getting integrated in the larger society.
