 Saroj Nalini Dutt Memorial Association recognizes and pays homage to great leaders and social reformers who laid the foundation of this Association.
It was started way back in the year 1923 by Late Gurusady Dutt and Saroj Nalini Devi, at Suri in Birbhum district with Mahila samity, but the foundation stone was laid by Late Gurusaday Dutt in the year 1925 in memory of his wife Saroj Nalini Devi. The dedication and devocation of our predecessors was unmatched.
To-day at our head quarters in Ballygunge we are running Twenty Four section. Keeping space with the modern world we had adopt modern technique in rural villages.
The project “ Empowering Women” granted by “Associate Country Women of the World”. It is a “Mega Project” in valuing so many people. It is a sustaining projects our Printing Press and Computer section had been modernized and upgraded. Nearly 80/100 people are directly involved in this project. A joint venture with Webel Informatics Ltd. (West Bengal Govt.) jointly running our computer centre. My heartfelt thanks to RTN Prabir Chatterjee and Teeveetronics Polytechnic Pvt. Ltd. for the help rendered to us in successfully completing the project. Myself and my entire Executive Committee joins me to thank our Area President Sister Viji and the project committee of “Association Country Women of the World”.
This year our auditor had complied accounts of Twenty sections in one unit of our Association. It was an herculean task. I thank our auditor M/s. Shah & Company specially Mrs. Madhumita Ghosh for all the help rendered. I specially thank our accounts Mr. Sekhar Ranjan Das and Amitava Pal.
Saroj Nalini Dutt Memorial is always indebted to its donors and specially to all the members who always stood by in hours of crisis.
Saroj Nalini Dutt Memorial Association is looking forward to the Century of the Association. It is now time to pass the baton to the younger generations, who will keep up the legacies of the Association.
I am grateful to my team members for their dedication support and co-operation for smooth running of the Association. I also thank all the Teaching office stuff for their support and co-operation extending to me.
I believe to turn promises into Commitments, by doing right things for right reasons.
